New power bus system

Published:  30 July, 2020

WIELAND ELECTRIC says its new podis power bus system helps to implement the distribution of power quickly and easily. The company says iIdeal for use in airports for baggage conveyor systems, office buildings, shopping centres for the ruting of power, the podis power bus system has found popularity more recently for the installation of vehicle charging stations for electric cars in public parking garages. The podis decentralised energy distribution system allows a large number of charging stations to be connected with just one supply cable.

For vehicle charging, the feed to the power bus can be placed anywhere, including the centre which enablies an ideal balance of the load on the power bus, meaning that the number of charging stations on a section of flat cable can be increased without overloading the cable.
