The benefits of longevity

After 34 years of operation a HART Speedor Super high-speed door, is being replaced by Hart’s latest version, a Speedor Storm.

Though the older door was in full working order the client decided to upgrade with a new door in an area of production that is temperature sensitive.

“Dependability and quality of product together with service support were the essential considerations in this latest order,” says Gordon Kipling, Hart’s Northern sales manager . There are now nearly 20 Hart doors on site.

Mr Kipling continues. “With so many Hart products on site, the service agreement was extended to cover all door types, some 36 doors in total. Regular servicing is essential for door systems that can be active on a 24 hour cycle, seven days a week basis.

“Speedor Storm is a robust and reliable high speed door system designed for frequent use in high traffic situations where exceptional wind resistance is required. The energy saving potential of this door is particularly high.

“Speedor Storm is used predominately as an external rolling door with a unique guide system offering wind resistance up to 70 mph when closed, that is class 5 as defined by DIN EN 12424, on larger openings up to 8m x 8m.”
