WANNER INTERNATIONAL says its Hydra-Cell Metering and Dosing solutions range includes variants with integrated variable speed drives and says the innovative design combines an AC induction motor with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD inverter) mounted on the motor.
Combining the motor and drive together is claimed to be simple to use while being highly accurate and repeatable.
Because Hydra-Cell pumps are true positive displacement pumps, flow rate is directly proportionate to input shaft speed and virtually independent of system discharge pressures.
Wanner says flow rate can therefore be varied proportionately by motor speed control offering turndown ratios of 10 to 1 or better and a variety of control methods is available.

WANNER INTERNATIONAL reports it has introduced a range of Hydra-Cell, ATEX approved Dosing Performance Pumps with precise mechanical variator control, all mounted on a substantial stainless steel base plate.
WANNER says its new, seal-less, hydraulically balanced diaphragm pump offers flow rates up to 366 lpm at pressures up to 103 bar.
WANNER INTERNATIONAL says its exclusive new "Control Freak" electronic controller provides motor speed control for Hydra-Cell Metering Solutions pumps (or Hydra-Cell bare shaft pumps in metering applications) and is able to control multiple pumps with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) from a single point and because motor speed is directly proportionate to flow rate in a Hydra-Cell pump, high accuracy can be achieved through the use of VFDs.
WANNER says its Hydra-Cell seal-less pumps, have solved a pump seal wear problem for a major producer of acoustic panels. When pumping abrasive coatings, pumps with dynamic seals can eventually wear and leak, performance accuracy deteriorates and maintenance downtime for seal replacement can prove expensive as the Corporation found to its cost.
