Door comes clean

Hart_Door_Systems.jpgThe Speedor pictured, manufactured and installed by HART DOOR SYSTEMS, has been fitted in a pharmaceuticals production facility in Cambridge. Mark Richardson, sales manager, says the door was installed in a wash-down area for parts of the plant used in the manufacturing process.

“Essentially a door was required to meet the air pressures within each room and maintain a clean room standard environment,” says Mr Richardson. “A particular feature was that the door had no surface mounted cables with all of them being fitted in the door hood before installation on site. This facilitates cleaning. The 1800 mm wide x 2100 mm high door is also fitted with a door mounted, overhead, safety sensor.”
