New steel navigator makes its mark at Elmia

Published:  17 November, 2016

Ovako-Steel_navigator-launch-Elmia_2016.jpgAt this year’s Elmia Subcontractor exhibition in Sweden, OVAKO demonstrated its new Steel Navigator - an exciting digital platform that allows customers to search and find the most suitable steel for their application. After logging on, customers can search for specific steel grades, by combining searches on steel group, quality, process type, product and chemical composition.

Also on show at Elmia, was the company’s Cromax® 180X - the first of a series of ongoing developments in the Ovako hard chrome plated bar and tube range. It is designed to be the smart and economic choice for conventional hydraulic cylinder applications, and is suitable for all kinds of manufacturing routes with superior processing characteristics.

Ovako also demonstrated how its WR-Steel® is now reinforced by the company’s ability to test different types of abrasion wear.
