Safe high speed doors

Efaflex_Armstrong_9518.jpgArmstrong World Industries, a global expert in the design and manufacture of innovative commercial and residential ceiling system solutions has announced the AWI manufacturing facility in Stafford now operates from seven units on Telford Drive, each being upgraded to feature EFAFLEX’s ‘SST’ premium high - speed spiral design.

Simon Pulford, plant manager said, ‘We are delighted with EFAFLEX. This has been a phased expansion and the classic high-speed spiral design door has been an asset to our business. Our warehouse doors are in constant use as a busy exporter of products abroad. The EFAFLEX doors have helped us secure our premises as well as ensuring the safety of our operatives. We use a fork lift truck mounted transmitter which allows our drivers to activate the door opening. This is flexible and can be set to a 10 second to 5 minute delay – perfect for our needs!’
