Validation of humidity probes

michell_instruments.pngMICHELL INSTRUMENTS says its new HygroCal100 humidity verifier provides a practical option for companies that are not able to invest in a full humidity calibration laboratory to verify their humidity probes in-house.

The unit is said to be cost-effective and is available either on its own or with a choice of options to meet a variety of needs. Michell says on its own, the HygroCal100 provides a simple way to validate humidity probes on site and weighing just 3.2 kg and with a battery life of up to 8 hours it is easily portable. It is said to be capable of validating up to 7 probes of different sizes simultaneously, and has a simple automatic validation program which allows the operator to ‘set and forget’ while the unit is working.

    MICHELL INSTRUMENTS says the HygroCal100 is a lightweight, portable humidity verifier, which uses its reliable internal polymer reference to provide automatic verifications of the accuracy of RH probes. The company says the Datapaq DP5 series is optimised for ovens with a low clearance and reflow solder applications.

  • New laboratory humidity reference standard 

    MICHELL INSTRUMENTS says the new Michell S8000 –100 is a high-precision, low dew-point hygrometer designed to meet the demands of humidity calibration and standards laboratories. Michell says its engineers have used the latest developments in chilled mirror technology to achieve reliable, repeatable measurements of low dew points down to -100 °C, with an accuracy of ±0.1 °C, without the need for additional cooling.

  • Relative humidity probe  

    The new HygroSmart HS3 advanced interchangeable relative humidity and temperature probe from MICHELL INSTRUMENTS is said to be 100% configurable to allow maximum flexibility to the user. This gives users the ability to alter their RH and temperature measurements to keep step with changes or developments in their process, with no extra costs.
