MCERTS certificate awarded

Published:  23 May, 2014

EndressCM44X_MCERTS1.jpgENDRESS+HAUSER has announced it has achieved MCERTS certification for its CM44x analytical transmitter and associated CPS11D pH electrode. The award follows both laboratory testing and a field test on the effluent from a wastewater treatment works.

The company says the transmitter and electrode utilise the unique Memosens data transmission technology seen across the majority of its analytical range. Endress+Hauser says that now MCERTS installations can benefit from the technology that eliminates the problems of corrosion, leaks and measured value distortion from moisture.

The CM44x is a multi-parameter, multi-channel device. The CPS11D is a general pH electrode said to be suitable for the majority of applications requiring a certified device, across all industries.
