• Compact portable hygrometer  

  The new MDM50 portable hygrometer from MICHELL INSTRUMENTS is said to give rapid dew-point measurements in compressed air – T95 to -35°C from ambient typically in less than 5 minutes. It has been designed to make spot checks of dew point in air and gases as simple and fast as possible.

• New dew-point transmitter  

  MICHELL INSTRUMENTS has launched a new fast-responding dew-point transmitter for compressed air quality: the SF82. In compressor rooms temperatures can easily reach 50 °C, while measurements of dew points below -60°C are required. Recognising this challenge, Michell’s engineers designed the SF82 to operate effectively in these specific conditions.

• New laboratory humidity reference standard 

  MICHELL INSTRUMENTS says the new Michell S8000 –100 is a high-precision, low dew-point hygrometer designed to meet the demands of humidity calibration and standards laboratories. Michell says its engineers have used the latest developments in chilled mirror technology to achieve reliable, repeatable measurements of low dew points down to -100 °C, with an accuracy of ±0.1 °C, without the need for additional cooling.

• High-precision hygrometers  

  MICHELL INSTRUMENTS has announced it has launched its upgraded S8000 chilled mirror hygrometer range to maintain its position as the world’s most popular and cost-effective family of industrial chilled mirror hygrometers. The first of the new instruments released in April 2018 were the S8000 RS and S8000 Remote. The popular mid-range S8000 Integrale is due to be released in May.
