Vehicle design challenge

Makita.jpgMAKITA, a professional power tool manufacturer, reports it will support Formula Student (FS) 2017, the vehicle design and build challenge run by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Formula Student is an established educational vehicle engineering competition. Teams from across the globe design, build and enter their race cars to be judged by industry experts. The sole aim of FS is to develop enterprising and innovative young engineers and encourage more young people to take up an engineering career.

Makita will offer FS participants special purchase opportunities via local authorised dealer Midland Technical Services and provide a Tool Loan Centre at the final of the FS challenge in July 2017. Competing teams will be able to use Makita power tools and receive instant product training.
