Portable fume extractor

Published:  27 January, 2014

20.photo.4.jpgCARVER AND CO (ENGINEERS) LTD reports it has launched a new, highly portable and efficient extraction and filtration system for fabrication and welding applications. The company says the system’s design can meet varied welding requirements with optimal safety, productivity and versatility and provide a cost effective solution for local ventilation requirements.

The Carver Mobile Extractor reduces harmful fumes and airborne particles that can gather during welding which could pose potential health risks. The system extracts fumes and particles from the area around the fume hood via a highly-manoeuvrable suction arm. The fumes and particles are then passed through a two-stage filter which cleans the air before it is returned to the environment.

Carver will be at MACH 2014 – Hall 4, Stand 4919.
