A new research hub will lead the use of digital twins in determining how transport systems, from road and rail to air and maritime, can be decarbonised as quickly, safely and cheaply as possible. The TransiT Hub, led by Heriot-Watt University and the University of Glasgow, is supported by a £46 million investment from the UKRI Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and 67 partners.
Taking place on July 15, World Youth Skills Day highlights the importance of equipping young people with the right skills for employment to enable them to succeed in their career.
