Chinese process gas heating contract

Published:  02 February, 2011

Specialist gas burner manufacturer Lanemark International Ltd. has announced a major development to its business activity in China with its largest burner supply contract into the country to date.  Lanemark Combustion Equipment (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. has recently been established and is jointly owned with Pacific Central Teknik PTE Ltd., Lanemark’s long-term agent in Singapore, to supply process gas burner equipment for tank and air heating applications to customers throughout China.

“The Lanemark office in Shanghai is able to offer burner sales and the necessary support engineering services”, commented Lanemark managing director, Paul Collier. He added:  “We have recently signed up to a number of trade exhibitions in the area to promote our products.”

One of the initial tasks that the company will undertake is to oversee the installation and commissioning of the largest contract won by Lanemark in the region. A total of 55 FD5C(GA) burners, designed to provide highly controllable and reliable process air heating for a new fibreglass processing plant, has been supplied through the company’s Shanghai distributor, Shanghai Heju M&E Equipment Co. Ltd.

“Production is now complete and we have shipped all the burner systems to China for installation”, added Adrian Langford, Lanemark process burner general manager.  “The contract demonstrates the suitability of our equipment and the growing uptake of gas as a process heating source in the country.”
