DFA Manufacturing Media, publisher of Plant & Works Engineering, Smart Futures, Drives & Controls, and Hydraulics & Pneumatics magazines, has been appointed as an official media partner of the National Manufacturing Summit.

Hosted by the Coventry-based Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), the 2022 National Manufacturing Summit will take place on 8 and 9 February 2022. The event will focus on three core themes providing a clear focus on the UK’s charge to net-zero:

• Field to Fork

• Factory to Door

• Fossil Fuels to Renewables

These themes provide a clear focus to the event, with the conference sessions focused on the achieving a more sustainable future across a series of key industrial sectors that, combined, will have a major bearing on our ability to scale the summit to a brighter net-zero future.

“DFA Manufacturing Media is extremely proud to have been selected as an official Media Partner to the National Manufacturing Summit 2022,” says Ryan Fuller, Managing Director of DFA Manufacturing Media. “Achieving Net Zero is a global directive and a cause that we champion. As a publisher deeply embedded in the Manufacturing Industry, we are uniquely placed to support the event. Our publications help to educate the UK manufacturing community and we strongly recommend attending the National Manufacturing Summit 2022.”

Andy Pye, who is Consultant Editor at DFA Manufacturing Media, will be chairing selected sessions during the event.

The UK Government has made a strong commitment to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, increase renewable energy sources, and create future plans for a green infrastructure.

“I’m delighted to welcome DFA Manufacturing Media as one of our official partners for the forthcoming National Manufacturing Summit,” adds Professor Chris White, Director for Industrial Policy Research, Manufacturing Technology Centre. “We are looking forward to building on our relationship as we aim to present another showcase event for industry. DFA Manufacturing Media will play a big part in helping us share the vision for what that future could look like, and how, as a sector, it can be delivered.”
