Service & maintenance

Published:  18 October, 2017

dp_Untitled.pngdp DOORS & SHUTTERS says it is now a legal requirement in accordance with the Machinery Directive, 98/79/EC and the workplace (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulation 1992 that all power operated and automatic doors must be subject to a controlled and regular maintenance and service procedure with emphasis on the safety features.

The company says when it undertakes a maintenance contract, its initial task is to identify each door in order to compile a data and information sheet which confirms the size and type of the door together with any other relevant details. dp Doors says part of its contract is to ensure a rapid response and guarantee to be on site the same day within 4 hours nationwide.
