Temporary cooling package

Published:  02 June, 2017

Aggreko_Chemoxy-0922-NEW_50pc.jpgChemical manufacturer Chemoxy reports it has accelerated a new business project at its custom processing plant by renting a temporary process cooling package from AGGREKO. Chemoxy needed additional cooling capacity to successfully develop a new production process with a major client. Rather than halting the project while a permanent solution was found, Chemoxy approached Aggreko to design and deliver a temporary alternative.

Aggreko carried out a site survey and found that the cooling demands of the process were not enough to warrant a rental cooling tower. Instead, a more cost effective recommendation was made for an interim chiller and supporting power package.

Aggreko says the 600 kW chiller was speedily installed, using hoses to connect directly into Chemoxy's process cooling system, and powered by an Aggreko generator.
