New waterproof safety boot

Published:  21 October, 2015

Lightyear_Waterproof_Safety_Boots_PK_Safety-0018.jpgA new Lightyear Waterproof Safety Boot has just been launched by PK SAFETY, a personal protective equipment specialist based in South Wales. The model BX-700 Voyager Boot is said to provide total water protection and can be ideal for environments where a worker may be exposed to excessively wet and muddy environments such as in industries including recycling, waste, utilities and those where workers spend a great deal of time outdoors.

PK Safety says as with all Lightyear Safety Footwear, the Voyager Safety Boot has a non-metallic composite toe cap and midsole making the Safety Boot ultra-light and more comfortable than Safety Boots with steel toecaps. There is a 100% waterproof membrane to resist any moisture. The overall safety rating of the Voyager Safety Boot is EN20345 S3 WR SRC.
