VOCs – why speciate?

Published:  18 March, 2015

Quantitech_AQE.jpgQUANTITECH says its stand at AQE 2015, the air quality and emissions show, will feature 3 different technologies for measuring individual organic compounds. VOCs mostly exist in mixtures so measurements can be misleading unless the individual compounds are speciated.

Onsite testing is better because samples containing volatiles are notoriously difficult to transport.

The FROG-4000 portable PID GC, the TRIDION-9 portable GCMS and the Gasmet DX4040 FTIR analyser are all rugged instruments for fast on-site analysis of trace VOCs in air, soil and water.

The company says refreshments, lunch, parking and entry to the exhibition and workshops, are all free after registration at www.AQEShow.com.
