Testing concrete pipes

BBMV has implemented Safetrak on the major Crossrail project to keep up-to-date with their equipment inspections and reportingSafetrak, is a digital system which helps plan, inspect and report and has been used for monitoring and testing pressurised concrete pipe systems at the C510 Liverpool Street and Whitechapel Station Tunnels project.

BBMV is a joint venture comprising of four of the world’s leading construction companies and has undertaken a robust and pragmatic approach to the testing by employing a full time plant maintenance engineer to ensure data recording regimes are adhered to.

Using Safetrak, inspections are planned and work orders are downloaded to the appropriate operator’s handheld computer. The Safetrak system uses email notifications to alert the user when an inspection is due.
