Blueseal of approval

Published:  30 June, 2007

In a bid to help companies meet new regulations on the use of solvents in component cleaning, Layton Technologies, has launched Blueseal which provides an hermetically sealed process chamber, ultrasonic cleaning, vacuum drying and extraction and enclosed solvent recovery all within a standard package.

It offers the ultra-low emissions and solvent usage which companies need if they wish to continue component cleaning with proven and effective chlorinated solvents such as perchloroethylene, trichloroethylene or other chemical cleaners covered by the Solvent Emissions Regulations (SER).

In a wide variety of applications cleaning with these solvents is seen as the only viable option. So safely enclosing the process together within a completely sealed solvent reprocessing system will provide the environmental compliance and cleaning performance required under new regulations.

Blueseal is a compact system and is available in a wide range of standard sizes, with special adaptations built to customer specification if required.
