Latest aerospace accreditation

Tufnol_Composites.jpgBirmingham based TUFNOL COMPOSITES reports it has achieved the latest internationally recognised accreditation from the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), which acknowledges the company’s high standard of manufacturing process and the quality of its products and services. Tufnol says the AS9100 Rev D is the latest revised version of the standard which recognises that its methods, systems and quality control from the design and development stage, through to the finished product, fully comply with the standard.

All of Tufnol’s procedures and processes were examined as part of the assessment, including demonstration of material traceability through the supply chain, facilitation of continual improvement and increasing efficiency. Also included was motivation and engagement with staff at all levels as an important part of the overall evaluation.
