Increased production

Published:  07 February, 2008

Bekaert has announced a strategic ramp-up in its production capacity to match the increased demand for its rotatable targets in the high-growth Asian, Eastern and Central European markets. The company's strong sales activity mirrors the robust growth that leading analysts have predicted for these booming regions.

To address the growing demand for its rotatable targets in the Eastern and Central European markets, Bekaert activated weekend production output at its facilities in Deinze, Belgium in January 2008. The weekend shift has been added to maximize current production output and provide faster delivery terms. This new ramp-up will increase production capacity by 40%.
