Transmissions wear damage solution

Published:  08 May, 2007

The biggest single cause of transmission failure is oil contamination.  Most of the contamination is caused by millions of steel particles circulating in the oil causing premature wear of the delicate components in the transmission of any vehicle or machine.

Agriemach has introduced its new TM series Filtermag which it says can solve this problem. By attaching either the TM180 or the TM360 to the bottom of the transmission pan, the Neodymium magnets with a magnetic pull force of 25 lbs, will hold the steel particles in suspension allowing only clean oil to circulate around the transmission.  There is no restrictive bypass with additional filters to install. The TM180 costs £25.62, and the TM360, £46.11 incl. VAT.
