Aston University’s green growth programme expands nationally

A regional scheme run by Aston University to help businesses grow sustainably is being expanded across the UK.
Green Advantage teaches company leaders how to build sustainability into every part of their organisation. Previously the course was only available to small to medium enterprises (SMEs) across the West Midlands but now the University is opening it up to all of the UK.
The scheme is led by experts from Aston University’s Centre for Growth which has experience of working with thousands of SMEs to support their businesses. Green Advantage works with senior executives who are provided with six expert-led workshops, four hours of peer group mentoring and personalised one-to-one coaching to embed sustainability into every part of their organisation.
Green Advantage has already delivered several highly successful cohorts since October 2022, with participating companies including Mars UK, Handelsbanken, National Grid, Shrewsbury Town Council, Mills & Reeve and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
