Elevated level of flexibility

Published:  21 February, 2014

ALL DRIVES & CONTROLS has introduced the new Unitronics EXF-RC15. The EXF-RC15 digital, high-speed IO module adds an elevated level of flexibility to the Unitronics PLC + HMI product lines, including the new Unistream range.

Configurable via the free software (and free training), modern control related applications where a mixture of high speed and general purpose inputs and outputs are required can be easily configured. CANbus compatible, this new IO module features 9 digital inputs 6 digital outputs (4 transistor outputs with high speed capability, and 2 relay outputs). The EXF-RC15 supports up to 3 high speed counter (HSC) or shaft encoder input chanels, at up to 200KHz, also 4 pulse width modulators (PWM) outputs or up to 3 pulse train outputs (PTO), at 200KHz max, that can be used for accurate stepper motor control. The company says it has never been easier to output an exact position using Unitronics controllers. This new and enhanced combination of features is reported to enable engineers and systems integrators to benefit from a powerful, upgraded IO module within budget, cabinet space, and wiring. Customers can register for a free Unilogic/Visilogic software programming training day with All Drives & Controls. All Drives & Controls, is a Unitronics authorised full service stocking distributor.
