Major Speedor EFW installation

The 8 Speedor ‘Storms’ pictured are part of a mixed installation on a Scottish Energy from Waste plant constructed by Interserve which not only includes HART DOOR SYSTEMS’ Speedor high-speed doors but also 15 fire and security steel roller shutters.
The Speedors are 5m x 7m and are being installed on tipping bays, their fast open/close cycles greatly reducing odour from the waste tipping process. Speedor Storm has now been installed on a number of new build waste transfer sites around the UK and is said to be proving reliable and resistant to the environment.
The company says Speedor Storm is an energy saving, industrial, high speed door, designed for frequent use in high traffic situations where exceptional wind resistance is required.

KLIMATE HIGH SPEED DOORS has been installing its UK made range of high speed, rapid roll doors for over 20 years. In that time it has installed them in a wide variety of places from car production plants and food process lines to highways salt stores . The latest batch of installations took place at SCA in Lancashire.
