Isolation indicator

Reece_Safety.JPGIt’s extremely quick and easy to find modern systems where a live feed will remain in place despite the original energy source being isolated. A remaining single phase or a floating neutral could be not only potentially hazardous, but disastrous.

To eliminate these issues, Remlive reports it has created a unique isolation indicator and says this equipment, supplied by REECE SAFETY, clearly shows a safe state before the panel is even opened, so rendering the risk of shock as zero. The basic principle of the operation is that when the power supply is in the “ON” state, the LED display on the face and will be illuminated in a flashing manner to attract attention.
