New production manager

Tufnol_Composites.jpgBirmingham based TUFNOL COMPOSITES has announced the appointment of Tim Rowson as its new production manager. Prior to joining Tufnol, Tim worked for Meggitt Aerospace where he was a team leader and also spent time with GE Unison Engine Components and IMI Nuclear. In his new role at Tufnol he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production processes for the company.

Commenting on his appointment, Tim said: “I am excited to be joining the team at Tufnol and to working in the UK composites market. While I have extensive experience in general manufacturing, this role offers a range of new challenges for me as well as the opportunity to develop my knowledge of this particular specialist sector of industry.”

He has purchased Thurlow’s 50% share of the business and is now busy making plans to drive even greater success at Hi-line.

  • New appointments and latest safety accreditation 

    HI-LINE INDUSTRIES, a leading UK supplier to the compressed air sector, reports it has welcomed three new employees to its ranks. Stephen Martin joins as sales director, Matt Johnson takes up the title of project engineer while Brad Beesley arrives as internal sales co-ordinator. The news comes in the same week as Hi-line celebrates its latest safety award: the company has been granted the prestigious SafeContractor accreditation by Alcumus.
