Waterproof thermometer

Published:  16 February, 2017

im_Untitled.jpgThe waterproof MM2008 thermometer from UK manufacturer, TME, is said to be helping premises and facilities managers streamline the raft of essential heating and hot water checks required for the prevention of Legionnaires’ disease.

The company says the thermometer’s built-in timer with 1 and 2 minute countdown buttons greatly simplifies timed temperature tests on hot and cold running water from taps and showers, saving engineers’ time and cutting costs. The thermometer is offered as part of a single kit, the CLEGK2 which includes TME’s KS01-S dual surface/immersion probe, suitable for use on both pipes AND running water.

TME says it is the UK’s specialist manufacturer of thermometers and probes for legionella prevention and other innovative products include the company’s easy to install TCWALLPORT system for low cost remote temperature monitoring, and MM7000 Barcode Scanning Thermometer for paperless temperature management of assets – now compatible with cloud-based fixed monitoring systems.
