Green warehouse cleaning

Published:  23 June, 2014

nilfisk_warehouse.jpgNILFISK says warehouse and depot cleaning is definitely where it gets tough. Cleaning contractors must manage cleaning around stock that is often fast moving. In some cases the facility is operational 24/7 and cleaning must never interfere with warehouse operations.

Many different floor types, soil levels, racking systems and shift patterns add to the complexity. An experienced contractor will look to reduce both the numbers of machines and overall running costs.

Nilfisk says its combination sweeper-scrubber has been acclaimed for its ecological credentials in the warehouse sector. The CS7000 is available in three models: The LPG-Hybrid and ePower Battery versions are designed for indoor use whilst the Diesel-Hybrid engine driven machine is for outdoors. All models have been designed to reduce the cost of operation, labour and maintenance, whilst effectively increasing fuel economy and runtime efficiency.
