Lorien-MEBCawards1.jpgA Burton based engineering design and project management company has had its commitment to the low carbon sector recognised with a prestigious award.

LORIEN ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS reports it has beaten off stiff competition to take home the Low Carbon Business Growth Award in the MEBC Business Success Awards 2013.

The accolade recognises the way in which Lorien has grown its Carboneering services, which focus on helping clients drive improvements in resource and energy efficiency, provide renewable energy, and reduce and recycle waste.

They include monitoring energy market trends through the Lorien Energy Index, reducing the amount of water and energy used in food and drink manufacturing, renewable schemes for heritage properties, and waste treatment technologies for both manufacturers and recycling companies.
